Jump Dev.

The whole development process is the most complicated project since I entered this major to now. Because I learned a lot of different codes in class, it took me a long time to study these codes. Then the code in some non-classes also made me crazy. Because I spent part of my time researching a code that was not used at the end, that is, the distance detection code. This project did cost me a lot of time, although the result is not perfect, but the project I was most focused on so far. At the beginning I wanted to make a game of clearance type. This is also the final result. The first level of the game is the simplest. It simply introduces the enemy walking mode and gives the player a chance to master the game operation. The second and third levels are to familiarize the player with all the content of the game, and More familiar with the map. The fourth level is a medium difficulty mode that integrates all game content. The last level is the hell level. After the player is familiar with the map and all in-game functions, the platform moves very fast and includes all the content. I design the maps the same to let the players understand the map better, because the more difficult the game is (the faster the speed), the player will only have a chance to pass the fifth level after they are familiar with the terrain.

There were three people playtested my game, and I got some very helpful feedbacks that I didn't notice before.

The first is that the camera is too close to people, causing the platform behind it to be difficult to see. The second is that the enemy’s texture is too small, and the third is that the game is slightly more difficult. For these problems, I have fixed them one by one.
